Pierre, in his marriage certificate is identified under the name of Mausfoy. In his burial certificate, we find him under the name of Maufait.
Marie was buried under the name Maufet on September 21, 1730 and not December 21 at the age of 73, according to the Drouin Institute. If she was born in 1660 and died in 1730, she was therefore 70 years old when she died.
